RCL Introduces an Upgraded “RBS” South China-Thailand Service

RCL is pleased to introduce an upgraded weekly service connecting China to Thailand and vice versa, with a partner T.S. LINES, branded as the “RBS” service with the rotation of Nansha (CNNSA) – Shekou (CNSHK) -Laem Chabang (THLCH) – Bangkok (THBKK) using 2x1,400 TEUS sized ships.

The maiden voyage will depart from CNNSA on the 22 October 2024. RCL will deploy PIYA BHUM in the service and partner will deploy another one of 1,400 TEUS sized ship in the service.

According to a RCL spokesperson, “The new upgrade RBS will be the 2nd cut service to improve the frequency and capacity between South China to Thailand, with an additional sailing from RCL current service RBH, both services provide direct calls from 2 main South China ports to Thailand and vice versa.

Customers will enjoy 2 sailing a week from CNSHK and CNNSA to Thailand at a very competitive express transit time of 4 days from last port call in South China (RBH: CNNSA or RBS: CNSHK) to THLCH and vice versa”.
