RCL with its partner are pleased to introduce a new direct service, RFL (RCL Far East-Latin America), which will provide enhanced connectivity from China and Korea to Mexico with the rotation of Shanghai-Qingdao-Pusan-Mexico (Manzanillo) using 1 X 2,800 TEU sized ships.

The maiden voyage will depart Shanghai on the 30 April 2025. RCL will deploy the Mv.Ganta Bhum in the service.
According to a RCL spokesperson, “The RFL will be the new service to connect China and Korea to Mexico and will be the 1st service for RCL to expand coverage to Latin America”. This strategic move marks RCL’s entry into the growing Mexican market, positioning the company to serve an expanding customer base with reliable shipping solutions.
The RFL service is designed to facilitate smoother trade routes, offering direct access to Mexico’s vibrant economy from key ports in China and Korea. This new offering will not only enhance RCL’s global service network but will also support the increasing demand for efficient logistics solutions between Asia and Latin America.
The RFL service will give a very competitive transit time; 23-25 days from China and 21days from Pusan direct to Mexico Manzanillo port.
